The 1/12 scale Yamaha RZV500R model kit is a reissue of a model last launched in 2011. It includes a newly released two-page B5-sized booklet with full-size color photos of the motorcycle as a painting reference, as well as an updated instruction manual.
About Yamaha RZV500R
The Yamaha RZV500R was unveiled at the 1983 Tokyo Motor Show with specifications that effectively made it the equivalent track bike, the YZR500. Inheriting its lightweight and compact design from the YZR, the RZV was equipped with a 500cc two-stroke, water-cooled V4 engine producing 64 hp and a top speed of 230 km/h. This gave performance on par with a liter-class motorcycle. The RZV500R ushered in a new era for two-stroke sports motorcycles, and was packed with Yamaha's extensive knowledge of both two-stroke engines and racing.
