Weathering Carrier

VMS Universal Weathering Carrier is a cost-effective weathering fluid for any weathering task. This proprietary hydrocarbon complex replaces classic and odorless turpentine, white spirit/mineral spirits and more expensive thinners. One product that is compatible with both oils and enamels. Whether you are preparing washes, filters, working with pigments, weathering fluids, pastes or binders - VMS Universal Weathering Carrier will do the trick. The product is indispensable while creating effects such as streaks or splashes and general thinning of weathering products.

The product is available in two types. The stronger "standard" version should be used over acrylic basecoats, while the "light" version can be used over both acrylic and enamel basecoats (except with Tamiya® enamels). Recommended for use with VMS ENML 2.0 and Alkyd binders. See table below for details.
