About the original motorcycle
The 1983 Suzuki RG250 was essentially a scaled-down, registrable version of Suzuki's 500cc bike that won the 1982 World Road Racing Championship. It featured an advanced lightweight aluminium alloy frame and swingarm, an anti-dive fork system and floating rear suspension. Its 247cc two-stroke engine delivered a 0-400m time of just 13 seconds.
